The following is a list of characters from the DreamWorks animated film media franchise Kung .. Tigress sought out the ones fitting this description, in this way meeting Crane, Monkey, Viper, and Mantis for the However, in "Kung Fu Club ," Peng would be revealed to have returned to the path of Kung Fu, this time seeking.
Tigress however, stayed to fight, pretending to be Shifu, and after initially being defeated, found herself aided by Crane, Mantis, Viper and Monkey, who had stayed out of loyalty to their friend. Tigress realized during the fight through their actions and Boar's words that she was not Shifu and never would be, and unleashed her true power; together with her companions, Boar was defeated. Upon returning, Shifu now fully recovered from his illnessadmitted that he was proud of her, and despite saying her style of fighting was unfocused and undisciplined, agreed to help her and the others develop their skills, eventually leading to them becoming the Furious Five.
Tigress' finding the other members of the future Furious Five was due in part to the actions of Po, and their defeat of Boar in turn inspired his love of Kung Fu and led to his eventual destiny as the Dragon Warrior. In spite of her temperate, stoic, and sarcastic attitude, Tigress is probably the most loyal of the Five, extremely dedicated to the well-being of the Valley of Peace. As the leader of the group, Tigress holds an enormous sense of responsibility, and has no greater ambition than to protect the Valley and perfect her own skills.
However, through Po's single comment in Kung Fu Panda 2 that she's so hardcore she "can't feel anything", Tigress begins to question how others perceive her.
She has also become a close friend to Po, and better understands his foibles, fighting closely with the panda and using tandem combat techniques they have developed together, although she can still get easily embarrassed by him.
While still direct and commanding, she is also protective of Po, as shown by her efforts to keep him from battling Shen after he freezes in front of the peacock, explaining that she "can't watch her friend be killed".
Additionally, she later pushes him out of the way when Shen fires his cannon at him a second time. Po reciprocates this closeness to her immediately after that sacrifice with him and all his comrades strewn half-conscious about in the bay; namely, he swims to her alone and holds her paw in deep concern for her well being.
After Po's single-handed defeat of the peacock, Tigress helps him out of the water before complimenting him for his astounding victory, which Po silently answers with a hug. Tigress also listened to Po about his 'daddy issues', as Viper put it, showing that she cares how he is feeling, although she was still sarcastic to him.
Tigress also displays a caring personality towards infants. At the end of the original film, when Tai Lung is defeated, she is seen holding a rabbit child and protecting it from the blast's shockwave. In Kung Fu Panda Holiday Specialshe playfully feeds one of the village piglets during the festival. In Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomenessit is revealed that Tigress was left at the Bao Gu Orphanage by her parents.
It is also shown that she was, at one point, not good with children.

Upon his arrival, someone proposed that Peng fight Jing Meithe nephew of Temutaiwho was one of the masters hosting the celebration. Peng was hesitant until Jing Mei knocked down his pottery cart, and agreed to the fight. He introduced himself to Master Shifu and assured the Dragon Warrior that he wanted to fight. When the match began, Peng first evaded Jing Mei's attacks but then countered one and finished the fight with three airborne spin-kicks, easily winning the match.
Before he could take his leave, both Po and Temutai tried to convince Peng to train with one of them, almost turning into a fight until Shifu declared it was Peng's choice. The young snow leopard decided to train with Po at the Jade Palace. On their way to the Palace, Peng was mobbed by a group of children who had become his new fans and signed autographs before at last he was taken to the Training Hall where he met and was complimented by the Furious Fivewho offered him a run through the training course.
Peng traversed it in seconds flat. At dinner, Peng sat at the head of the table where Po was supposed to be sitting as host and told some jokes, succeeding in making Tigress laugh.
Later, he met up with Po in the Training Hall again, where the Dragon Warrior haltingly told Peng that Shifu had dismissed the young potter's skills as a warrior. This outraged Peng, who declared he'd prove Shifu wrong before running off.
He sought out Temutai and told him what happened before picking up a sword, proclaiming he would defeat the Qidan Clan leader and show Shifu what real strength is. During their fight, Peng got Temutai on the defensive when they were interrupted by Jing Mei.
Not wanting to get involved he quickly excused himself, much to his uncle's fury. Finally, Po showed up and tried to stop the fight; but Peng refused to back down, exclaiming he "practiced his kung fu without any plans, no expectations, and no dreams" until Po "gave him one" and Shifu "snatched it away". The fight continued outside and before long, everyone the Furious Fivethe Qidan Warriors, and the villagers were all fighting and squabbling until Po shouted for everyone to stop.
Here, Peng got a confession from Po that he was the one who wanted Peng gone, not Shifu, because he got jealous of Peng's popularity, and sincerely apologized. Though shaken, Peng found it in his heart to forgive Po, and partook in the closing ceremony with Po and Temutai by performing tai chi.
When the Jubilee was over, Po invited Peng back to the Jade Palace, but Peng politely declined as he wanted to continue his travels, revealing that he was searching for his uncle.

When Po asked who his uncle was, he received a shock when the young snow leopard revealed that his uncle is Tai Lung. When Po revealed the truth Peng was angry and tried to attack Po, believing that Tai Lung wasn't evil.
However, Peng returned to the Jade Palace and realized that Po was right about everything and that kung fu causes evil. Peng quit kung fu and left behind his uncle's sword. They defeated Temutai as a team and knocked the medallion off him. When Master Po was sent with the Five on a mission to stop Lord Shen's attempt to conquer China, he was plagued with disturbing dreams about his parents replacing him with a radish.
He was reluctant to talk about them, even to Tigress, who grew to be Po's confidant in the Five. More seriously, Po was still hampered with his paralyzing flashbacks, especially at the sight of the same symbol on Lord Shen's plumage. This created a subsequent obsession in Po to question Shen, which results in him almost getting killed.
Po survives Shen's cannon attacks, and is rescued by the Soothsayer, who heals his body with acupuncture and medicinal brew.
Po was able to recall all his memories of being orphaned and find inner peace. He did this in light of recalling the happy and fulfilling life with his loved ones in the Valley of Peace. By achieving tranquility, Master Po defeated Lord Shen's fleet—much to everyone's astonishment—by using a martial arts technique that countered Shen's cannon fire by literally grabbing the fired projectiles and returning them to destroy their launchers.
In doing so, Po saved China while cementing his reputation as a mighty warrior. Afterwards, Po returned to Mr. Ping and tells him that he's his dad for having adopted him. However, Po is unaware that his biological father, Li is still alive, living in a panda hideout with the other villagers revealed to be the secret panda village and he finally senses that his son is alive. Even though Tigress and Mantis are annoyed at the deception, Po engages their interest in the story of the trio of masters first met.
In "Chain Reaction," Po said that he would like to be Tigress' friend; he tells her that he "dreamed" of being friends with her since he was five and later, when she goes off on him, he says that she "stinks at friendship and funship.
Both of his personalities have been split when he gets infected by the Mystical Mirror of Yin and Yang. Bad Po blames Good Po for his bad deeds and when one panda gets hurt, the other feels the same. In the end, Good Po makes Bad Po look in the mirror and both pandas are rejoined.
Secrets of the Scroll [ edit ] As Po grew into his teenage years with a lack of focus and of his father's skill in cooking, which later led to Shifu getting food poisoning after Po prepared a meal for the Jade Palace while his father was away on business.
Afterwards, Po began to consider other possible career paths, such as a cleaner, comedian, dancer, or doctor, and made a list of them on a scroll.
