Just like in the clip Meet the Medic. I think the head of the Spy is an obvious reference to the movie and this information should. For the taunt item, see Meet the Medic (taunt). .. beer, the BLU Spy's head (alive ), a battery for his head, and an ashtray for his cigarettes. Meet the Spy was leaked on May 17, , due to a YouTube bug that allowed iPhones to view videos marked as "Private." This inspired a.
In the air, he will have a clear line of sight with which to bombard you with rockets. When performing your Medic duties, keep a look out for Soldiers coming in from above. Take cover behind large objects, scenery, or even your teammates to avoid splash damage from explosions.
The best way to dissuade the Soldier from dive-bombing you would be to stay near a reliable Medic buddysuch as a Heavy. To directly fight a Soldier, retreat behind cover while he is firing, then move in with your Syringe Gun when he is forced to reload. Medic Pyro When dealing with a Pyro, stay farther away from your patients or heal from a distance using the Crusader's Crossbowas fire can pass through teammates and burn you as well.
If a Pyro manages to light multiple teammates on fire, spread out your healing so that you can quickly extinguish them all. Out in the open, your Medic buddy ideally should be able to eliminate him before he comes within lethal range. If a Pyro manages to ambush you, backpedal while firing your Syringe Gun and search for a Medkit to extinguish the afterburn.
The Pyro is slower than you, making retreating somewhat easier. Your natural health regeneration can offset some, but not all of the damage done by afterburn. The Amputatorthough, can completely negate any afterburn when held, and can be used when the enemy team has multiple Pyros. A mysterious woman presumably resembling Miss Pauling can be seen through the window at 0: The labels on the hearts at 1: The smallest heart appears to have no label on it.
Despite the Medic believing otherwise, human ribs are actually capable of growing back when properly shortened. In the opening, when the Demoman is fleeing from the BLU Soldiers in a wheelchair, he has a bandage over the top part of his head and an eyepatch worn on top of the bandage. Later, when the Demoman is healed by the Medic, he rips off the bandage with the eyepatch on it to reveal another eyepatch underneath the bandage. Similarly, when he is fleeing from the Soldiers in the first battlefield scene, his Stickybomb Launcher rests on his lap and is his only visible weapon.
In the second battlefield scene, the Grenade Launcher replaced the Stickybomb Launcher, but after an explosion sends him flying out of his wheelchair, the weapon that lands in front of him is, mysteriously, the Stickybomb Launcher instead of the Grenade Launcher he was just holding. In the up-close scene of the Demoman fleeing the Soldiers, the Engineer and Sniper are missing.
The Quick-Fix uses sounds from the Medi Gun. After the Heavy kills the Soldiers onscreen and continues to fire at unseen enemies, the Medic poses as in the Meet the Medic taunt. Next to him is a Ciggy Stop vending machine, identical to the one in the Intelligence room in Meet the Spy. Since the June 17, Patcha dove will sometimes fly out of gibbed Scouts.
This foreshadowed the final gag of the video, where Archimedes is left inside the Scout's chest after his operation. It was revealed in the Source Filmmaker introduction video that the hospital battle scene is actually a modified version of Badwater Basin. The spawn that the Medic walks out of appears to be one of the exits in 5Gorgewhile the rocky hillside seems to be inspired by DeGroot Keep both were released December In some leaked developer files of Source Filmmakersome stills of an old version of Meet The Medic can be found featuring an injured Scout, Soldier, Demoman and Heavy.
Concept art from the final scene can be found in the files as well. If you contact a Valve employee and they say it was on purpose, however, then heck yes. Neat catch either way. In the cabinets in the background, there are various items in there, one of them is the Medic's Solemn Vow seen right next to his armand there's also a purse hanging on the wall to the right of his head, should either of these be noted?
Also, other than the various bottles in there, what are those other objects? I'm not sure about this one; perhaps if we get another yes we can add it. It sounds a lot more like Schweinhund to me, and it'd make more sense considering the Medic's German background.
Demoman has one eye. A lot of people call him cyclops. Is it worth mentioning the humor that the Medic puts his surgery gloves on after the surgery? In that it isn't.
You see, the heart of a small animal beats very rapidly even when the animal is in a resting state. So could this mean that the Scout got the Loch Ness Hamster heart, or the smaller unlabeled one? Oh, and as soon as Archimedes the Dove coos inside his chest, the sound of his heart stops.
I thought it was neat enough to mention. That his heart stops when Archimedes coos is observational.

Both aren't trivia according to the Style Guide and thus will be removed when added. The Heavy's heart is the largest and his health is the largest Should this be noted or not -- Mardamien24 We don't know whose heart is biggeer. The heart used in MtM as a replacement heart was merely a way of showing how powerful the Uber device is. Ryokyon I listened to it and I agree.
Also in it I noticed a second mistake I had not seen in the p version. Not only is the Heavy wearing an old decal in the team pose picture, but so is the Demoman. Probably reading too much into it, but I thought it was cool. I kinda see what you mean though - how do you notice stuff like that? At least half of the rockets in the video travel in arcs, similarly to those fired by "the matador" in Mechatheslag's advanced weaponizer.
Could this be a hint from Valve, or just cinematic effects? Any relation with the AW weapon is a mere coincidence. Just like in the clip Meet the Medic. I think the head of the Spy is an obvious reference to the movie and this information should be included in the Notes.Meet the Medic
I'm fairly sure the idea of a head in a fridge is not one exclusive to American Psycho, so it's hard to say if this is intended to be a reference to American Psycho.
Too many coincidences for me. I've noticed that this is the first Meet the Team video in which a character is wearing a non default hat.
I keep trying to add this to the trivia section, but after about 2 minutes it disappears from the page, just like ALL of my contributions. I'm new, so the last sentence may sound stupid. Is there a validation period, or is someone angry at me?
