It seems that she has no quest in life — probably she knows about the void that is gnawing her soul. With this, there is a mystery of a nun whose appearance sends chills to the spine. And a very unique take on friendship because spending each and every second together is not the constituent of a true friendship, it’s the love and care that you have for the other that makes it last the lifetime. I too am a fan of Ruskin bond. The previous one was way better as they always are. Want to Read saving…. The blue umbrella is so much beautiful that soon it becomes a topic of conversation for villagers and children adore her umbrella so much that every time they feel like to touch or hold it. The narrator is well aware that the Maharani is not a righteous widow, and probably she had not even been a good wife.
