The ending was abrupt and did not satisfy me, as a faithful demonata series lover. Not only do we get the birth of the universes explained to us, we also get a surprise when we find out what came before the beginning. When I first picked it up, I looked at demonaat cover, the cover had a man with no eyes and fire was behind him, and I thought that cxlling will be a great book.
Grubbs is still not happy about the idea, but when Bec reveals that Bill-E Spleen may be trapped in the same place as Beranabus, Grubbs jumps at the opportunity to save his brother. Also, he says there is no way to be Death, who is commanding the demon horde. I love the Demonata series, but Demonafa Calling was kind of a disappointment.

However, knowing Darren Shan’s style in his other work, I’m still hoping the last book will be an epic finale. Grubbs tells Kernel that he will hate him for what he is about to do, and then destroys Kernel’s magically formed eyes and tells him that he needs him to stay. Like they were just as gory and about demons, but the books have escalated to apocalyptic problems. Whereas Grubbs will stubbornly fight to the end, Kernel holds a nugget of hope that’s brighter than the sun.
The pacing and the action was intense, with characters unexpectedly dying left and right.
dalling Cirque Du Freak 3: We also get a lot of answers and explanations for things in this book. It’s expected that through the horrors and trials that Grubbs would become hard and jaded, but he’s a little more one-dimensional now and I can’t bond as much with him. Hre we have magic and that alone makes everthing possible, yet I’m not fully convinced that it was needed.

Darren lives in Ireland, where he writes and collects art, comics, and film. I chose this book out of pure chance when I went to the library. Dark Calling is from the point of view of Kernel, a magician. I’m still deciding if I liked that weird development and probably will be undecided until I die.
