Dec 11, Philip rated it liked it. This book tried to teach Cocoa, Objective-C, and Xcode at the same time and failed pretty miserably. The subject matter is challenging however so I would only recommend this book to someone who has at least basic experience with the C language and an object oriented language.
In particular, our students expect our instructors to be experienced, friendly, knowledgeable, articulate, and committed. I suspect that there will be two camps — not because the skill sets are different, but because iPhone programmers will have different personalities and proclivities than Mac programmers.
