It’s a book I’m going to keep around as a guidebook as I continue to grow my company. A firm can extend its business to other games when it adds value to the other game and increases its profitability. Incidentally, airlines are such a tough industry that they seem to have pioneered a lot of innovations around deterring and abating price wars although the industry remains challenged.
This book lifts the curtain on a lot of the thinking involved, and gives examples of both effective and ineffective moves in real business situations.
