The lady in question was Mariam uz-Zamani, though she is often popularly the Rajput princess who was Akbar's wife and Jahangir's mother. rank of 12, cavalry, entitling her to the right to issue firmans of her own. that Salim and his mother Mariam-uz-zamani had not so close a relation. Akbar tried his best to make Salim stop his rebellion and come back to him mothers including details of marriages and issues faced by them etc. Even jahangir in his autobiography wrote her name as mariam uz zamani. In , she was offered in marriage to the Emperor Akbar by her father, Raja Bihari . at the Mughal court, Mariam-uz-Zamani was granted the right to issue official.
Hira Kunwari she was forced to marry Akbar against her wish, convert to islam and also bear his child. So did all this factors make Hira Kunwari jodha dislike salim and remove anger of being forced to marry akbar on the child.
So obviously Hira like jodha does in serial cannot shout, ignore, misbehave with the real Akbar. So whom does she remove her anger on i can find only Salim who would have borne the brunt of her anger on being married against her wishes by her family to Akbar. Is that not surprising? Akbarnama is so silent on wives and sisters that its surprising.
Atleast Jehangirnama takes some efforts to explain characters of his sisters and brothers and mention something about his 3 mothers Ruqaiah, Salima and Hira Kunwari. But yet it is vague references we do not get to know what sort of relationship really exists between mothers-son etc only incidents.
Though she remained a HinduJodhabai was honoured with the title Mariam-uz-Zamani "Mary of the Age" after she gave birth to Jahangir. When the Portuguese officially refused to return the ship and the passengers, the outcry at the Moghul court was quite unusually severe.
The outrage was compounded by the fact that the owner and the patron of the ship was none other than the revered mother of the current emperor. Mariam-uz-Zamani's son, the Indian emperor Jahangir, ordered the seizure of the Portuguese town Daman.

A number of royal functions took place in the household of Mariam-uz-Zamani like Jahangir's solar weighing,  Jahangir's marriage to daughter of Jagat Singh,  and Shehzada Parviz 's wedding to daughter of Sultan Murad Mirza.
The grave itself is underground with a flight of steps leading to it. Her tomb, built in —27, is on the Tantpur road now known as in Jyoti Nagar. Though neither of the Rajput wives of Akbar took a political role in the Mughal court, he respected such matrimonial alliances and treated his Hindu relatives on par with his Muslim relatives in all respects, however with exception of dining and praying with him or in taking Muslim wives. He never forced his Hindu wives to convert to Islam and allowed the Hindu women of his harem to conduct religious ceremonies and observances in the palace and on certain occasions he would also participate in such rituals.
Thus Hira Kunwari remained a Hindu by faith. Chisti blessed Akbar and promised him three sons.

So when Akbar got the news in that his first Hindu wife was expecting a child, he hoped the birth of the first of his three sons as promised by the revered holy man Chisti.
Akbar then sent Hira Kunwari to the dwelling of Chisti in Sikri to stay there till childbirth. On August 30,Hira Kunwari gave birth to a boy who was named Salim by his father out of his gratitude and honour towards the holy man.
Salim later succeeded his father to become Emperor Jahangir.
This was in line with the practice of the Mughal Empire of giving honorary titles to the Muslim noblewomen of the imperial harem after they give birth to a son.
